Finally, I (Christian) will take my time and refresh this Blogg. I will try to update it on a regular basis…

I will write in English so that all of our far away friends and family will understand. Please don’t laugh at my misspelling and bad grammar…

What have happened this year?

Travelling/vacation

We went to Michigan and visited the Willing family in May. We had a great time, thanks again all of you who took care of us, especially Sue and Gary. But also Angie, Eric and Mark with families, we will never forget!

Max talks about the trip, for example he still say Gary and “ my buddie”… every dog he meets is called Abbie (or Wilson, a dog that our friends have).

And Ida has said that she wants to fly to USA again. I remember one evening when she was really tired and all of a sudden said with tears in her eyes “I want to go to Gary and Sue”.

Otherwise we haven’t been travelling so much, some short trips during one day. But Ida and Max went to their grandmother for a couple of days and they went to Furuvik, an amusement park and Zoo.

The house

We haven’t done that much to the house this summer. But the terrace is finally all done, the roofing, glass doors, windows and painting.

We bought a new large flat screen TV and a playstation 3 system with Blue Ray disc, so the kids can watch their favourite movies in HD. Ida’s favourite is Madagascar and Max’s Cars.

The day after this investment our lawnmower broke so it was nothing else to do but to buy a new one. The money is easy spent, unfortunately.

The things to do are; plant a hedge, build a terrace in the front of the house and a wooden shed for the gardening tools and firewood storage behind the garage. But we don’t know what to start with yet…

Friends and relatives

What can I say? Yes we have friends and we try to find the time to see them. We all have a busy schedule, but for example we went to Skara Sommarland (water- and amusement park) with the Emilsson and Grönqvist family in July. We had a great time.

And in early October we will go to Stockholm and meet friends when Christian got at ticket to a Detroit Red Wings game. They will start their season in Sweden!

We have met our relatives at birthdays and latest at the annual crayfish premier. Right now Gun and Christer are in Mallorca (Spain) for a week vacation, sun and bath…
